Eastern Engineered Wood Products Breaks Ground in Heartland Business Park
On Monday, May 17, 2021, Eastern Engineered Wood Products hosted a groundbreaking to celebrate their new distribution facility coming to the Heartland Business Park in Keysville, VA. The site will become a 32-acre distribution center, with 20 acres of inventory on the ground.
This distribution center will bring new jobs to GO Virginia Region 3 and is made possible in part due to expansion of rail service to the site from Buckingham Branch Railroad, broadband from Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation, and the support of the Virginia’s Heartland Regional Industrial Facility Authority (VHRIFA), which includes multiple counties.
MBC was happy to be in attendance at yesterday’s event as ground was broken for the new distribution center, and we look forward to serving the facility with open-access fiber that will allow the company to access high-speed broadband through their choice of any of MBC’s ISP clients. We extend our congratulations to Eastern Engineered Wood Products and welcome them to Keysville!
