Ethernet Services

Our Ethernet services support our customers who serve educational institutions, healthcare providers, government, and financial industry in our regional market. Our Ethernet network also supports regional internet providers and wireless carriers offering broadband services in our rural markets looking to bridge the digital divide.

MBC operates multiple 4TB Infinera DWDM connection paths across the network providing access at major city locations and peering points.  MBC utilizes technology from Cisco to provide various speed level service offerings and deliver standards-based services that are consistent across the entire footprint. A recent Cisco investment allows MBC to provide 1, 2, 3, and 5 Gbps speeds on a 10 Gbps UNI.
MBC Ethernet service supports regional fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) projects and high-speed wireless services for national providers and regional ISPs. The MBC network allows our customers to more affordably serve homes and businesses our rural market footprint.
