Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Honored by Virginia School Board Association

South Boston, VA – May 18, 2015 – Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation (MBC) was honored to receive the 2015 Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) Business Honor Roll in appreciation for MBC’s ongoing support for Martinsville City Schools.

“We would like to thank you personally for your commitment to the students in your division. Your work has aided in focusing on the goal of providing the best public schools we can for the children who attend them.” stated Executive Director of the VSBA, Gina G. Patterson in a recognition letter to MBC.

This prestigious award was presented to Tad Deriso, MBC’s President and CEO on Monday night by the Martinsville City School Board at their local meeting in Martinsville, Virginia.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from both Martinsville City School Board and the Virginia School Board Association.” said Mr. Deriso.  “Reinvesting in our communities is a core mission area for MBC, and we’re delighted to continue our support for the Schools and their High School Robotics Programs.”
