MBC Welcomes Fred Scott as Fiber Splicer

Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation (MBC) is pleased to announce that Fred Scott has joined our team as Fiber Splicer.

Fred brings a diverse and well-rounded background to MBC, including nine years of experience as a splicer in the telecommunications industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Radford University and has worked across a variety of fields, including education, residential and commercial construction, and tree work. This broad experience has shaped his technical skill set and hands-on approach in the field.

Fred is married to his high school sweetheart, and the two will be celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they are raising three amazing children.

Outside of work, Fred enjoys an active lifestyle and a wide range of hobbies, including hunting, fly fishing, hiking, camping, rock climbing, construction projects, woodworking, automotive and motorcycle restoration, practicing several martial arts, and exploring great food.
