Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation (MBC) is pleased to announce that Shane Winn has joined our team as GIS Analyst.

Shane brings strong GIS background to MBC. Throughout his 20 years of service in the U.S. Army, he developed valuable GIS expertise, with around seven years dedicated to conducting imagery analysis. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from American Public University System (APUS), majoring in Technologies and Remote Sensing.

Following his retirement from the Army in 2025, Shane and his wife, Rebecca, relocated from Clarksville, Tennessee, to South Boston, Virginia, along with their seven children. Since then, the family has established a hobby farm where they care for a variety of animals.
