MBC owns and operates open-access communication towers. MBC works with Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP) to place wireless broadband transmission devices near MBC facilities to help them expand wireless broadband coverage to their customers. These towers are designed to support colocation needs of wireless broadband and cellular providers to use for wireless Internet service, microwave backhaul, and emergency communications.
MBC’s network is connected to cell towers within its 1900-mile footprint to support data transport for multiple wireless and cellular providers.
